VBS took place June 23-25. God provided amazing teams tow ork together to reach our community of kids. From the preparations the weeks before, to the actual event days, everything went so well. I treasure the unity and harmony in the body of Christ, all working for a common goal - the glory of Jesus in the lives of children.
We ended up serving 67 kids for 3 days. 31 of those kids either made a decision for Christ, asked for prayer, rededicated, or came forward with a friend to know Jesus. Praise God! The seeds were planted in their hearts and God now does the watering and growing. Who knows what that little one will grow up to be for God's kingdom, right? Did we plant seeds of the gospel in the next missionary, doctor, pastor, or even president of our country? We never know and so we take each life with tenderness and seriousness as we give them Jesus.
As you think about how God is using you today remember this: He is always working far greater than what we can see. Only when we get to heaven will we see the fruit of all we do for His Name sake. The prayers matter. The loving sacrifice matters. The gifts of money for supplies or sponsorship of a child. It all is kingdom work.
And when every part does it's share there is growth seen and the glory of God is on display. Thank you Jesus for all you do in and through us!
