IMPORTANT CHURCH NEWS:  10/2020
We are all learning to live life in light of COVID-19.  What does that mean for us at Calvary North?  First, we want to walk wisely with an ear to facts & stats in our community.  As numbers adjust we want to change how we tackle life as well.  Sometimes we pull back; other times we press forward.  Flexibility is a key trait of Christian living.

Second,  we as a church are moving forward by faith, not fear or feelings, doing what we know is going to strengthen our lives in Jesus.   The Bible tells us that our lives are hidden in Christ with God (Col. 3:3).  We live for Jesus today, and heaven to come tomorrow.  And so, as a church, we seek to meet back together in person, to cultivate fellowship & prayer in small groups, and find ways to impact our community and serve others.  All with safe measures in place.

For the time being, we are still recommending wearing masks when you come and go from the service.  Masks are required in public now for a season when you can't be 6 feet apart.  Basically when you are in unpredictable situations of how others will move around you (stores, banks, shopping centers, crowded places, etc.).   So please wear one as you head to your seat.  Once seated 6 feet from others (who are staying put there for the service), feel free to take it off for the service if you'd like.  Then we will ask you to put it back on as you leave out the foyer, or engage in conversation with others, or pray one on one with others.  If you don't have a mask there is one in the foyer for you to have.  If you have respiratory problems please don't wear a mask.  Just come and be blessed.

Youth Ministry is meeting every Sunday for those of you with teens.
Small groups are starting back up in January to help cultivate fellowship that is so essential for our faith.
Children's ministry (nursery through 6th grade) is in full swing on the 2nd & 4th Sundays only.   No snacks will be provided.  Kids need to bring their own water bottles.  All cleaning & safety measures will be followed.   Contact jamie@calvarynorth.com for more information.

Let's walk in love and grace toward each other, strive for unity in the body of Christ, and be filled with His Spirit as we move forward in Jesus this fall.

Blessings,

Pastor Jesse Claycamp
